The Most Amazing Person that Ever Lived...in Silence and Lifelong Solitude

I have always felt the greatest admiration for a historical figure who lays claim to a legacy so revolutionary and absolutely vital to our existence that it is uniquely more infallible and true  than even  history itself.  In fact numerous, maybe most of the greatest events written in our history (before and after he lived) simply could not have occurred but for Isaac Newton

Can it be true that, in a sad twist of fate, it is commonly believed that Newton was only driven to physically laugh but one time in his entire life,  when he was mockingly asked by a colleague:
"What possible use could there truly be for Geometry?"
Don't take my word for it...this Biography of Isaac Newton sums it up nicely, and frankly I'm ashamed to have been an admirer for so long without knowing some of the absolutely incredible characteristics about him presented therein. You wouldn't believe me...so I'm not going there! We all owe it to the man to indulge for a few...trust me.

  • Newton did quietly say this of himself in his last days:

“I was like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.”
